Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As a Senior Client Relationship Specialist, you will be a key contact for account management including post sales activities, complex contractual and plan design inquiries, and installation. You will identify cross-selling opportunities by providing superior service in assisting producers and group plan administrators by resolving problems and proactively recommending solutions

 

What will you do?

  • Taking accountability for resolving client / advisors inquiries by determining appropriate action for complex issues, both internally and externally, with minimal management involvement, in addition to proactively recommends solutions and ideas when resolving problems

  • Establishing relationships with producers and group plan administrators

  • Processing plan changes, termination of policies, transfer of AOR, plan design changes, legal name changes, billing etc.

  • Providing client / advisor education and training on product, product information and RBC Systems

  • Maintaining accurate producer contact information through SFDC

  • Taking personal responsibility for maintaining awareness and acting in accordance with RBC risk management policies and procedures

  • Driving efficient process improvements consistently

 

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in insurance

  • Valid driver's license is required for occasional training purposes

  • Excellent Organization Skills

  • Resourcefulness

  • Excellent Time Management

  • Account Management and Problem Resolution skills

  • Strong computer literacy skills.

 

Nice-to-have

  • General Insurance knowledge

  • Product knowledge for all Group lines of business

  • Understanding of Group Insurance market

  • Professional sales and client experience
