What is the opportunity?
Business Systems Analyst
The Supervisory Control Technology sits within the Global Operations, Credit & Supervisory Controls Technology team that has complex interactions with technical teams throughout the Capital Markets division and wider RBC organization. The group is organized globally with a reporting line into the group head in Toronto.
Within Supervisory Control Technology the Capital Markets Access Control (CMACS platform) supports the Application Access Requests, Authorizations, Provisioning and Reconciliation as part of the regulatory requirement of managing the access control mechanism

What will you do?
Requirements Analysis, Requirements Elicitation/Management/ Documentation skills
Eliciting the requirements needed to carry out business processes including interviews, intelligence analysis and survey assessments.
Advanced knowledge of Application test planning and execution
Knowledge of Data warehousing and reporting concepts
Understanding of business process as well as relational/dimensional data modeling concepts
Understanding of RDBMS concepts and SQL knowledge
Ability to run small to medium enhancement projects independently by creating work breakdown structures, estimating efforts and executing the project within the prescribed timelines.
Translating business needs, processes and procedures into a workable system, and articulating on specific software requirements by communicating about these requirements with technology experts and business stakeholders.
Provide third line production support.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Data mapping experience using various file formats including but not limited to excel, csv, xml, txt flat file etc.
Experience with Unix, Windows user groups provisioning and access control
Excel macros and pivot tables, Confluence, strong SQL experience and be able to write medium complexity queries.
Be able to perform dual role of Business Systems Analyst and QA using available BA/QA tools
Very good documentation skills including but not limited to Technical Design Document, Extract Agreements between source and target data owners, Data Mapping, Detailed Requirement Specifications, visio diagrams, use cases etc.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Nice-to-have
Previous industry experience specific to Access Control, Requisitioning and Provisioning of the access.
Automated testing experience
Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
