Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst in the Identity Access Management (IAM) Team, you will work with the IAM Application Onboarding Team to integrate RBC applications onto onto RBC’s enterprise authentication services. We’re looking for an ambitious, curious, self-starter with knowledge in the cloud computing space, who challenges the status quo, is constantly thinking about flexibility, robustness, and simplicity in everything we do.

What will you do?

  • Work with business partners and application teams across RBC Enterprise to provide training on authentication services, explain the onboarding process, document requirements and submit requests for onboarding.

  • Provide Consultative services to ensure requirements are in compliance with RBC Standards
  • Identify and Report security risks in accordance to our RBC Standards
  • Participate in all aspects of onboarding testing as needed, this may include:
    • Test case scenarios creation and assisting with test case writing
    • Assisting with DEV, SAI (UAT) and PIV testing
  • Provide support with tasks and ad-hoc requests as required
  • Find and implement solutions to improve the efficiency of the onboarding process.
  • Report on Authentication onboarding progress and metrics.
  • Review, analyze, and define onboarding requirements as reflected in the requirement document that application teams provide and contribute to the technical development specifications by ensuring that requirements for onboarding have been met

What do you need to succeed?
 

Must-have:

  • 2-4 years IAM experience preferably as a Business Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management in small to medium projects.

  • 1-3 years of experience with authentication services/SSO (Azure AD, Okta, etc.) and an understanding of security protocols such as LDAP-S, SAML, WS-Federation, SCIM, OAuth, and OIDC
  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills / Solid understanding and experience with SDLC
  • Ability to adapt to constantly changing technical, regulatory, and compliance environments
  • Experience working on multiple assignments and tasks concurrently, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while handling stressful situations with emotional intelligence

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with one or more of IAM capabilities & tools (e.g. CyberArk, SailPoint IIQ, Okta, GDS etc.)

  • IT Standards, Methodologies, CMM & audit requirements
  • Professional certification(s) related to information security or information risk management such as CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP

Education:

  • A Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Business Analysis, Management Information Systems

Job Summary

As a Senior Business Analyst in the Identity Access Management (IAM) Team, you will work with the IAM Application Onboarding Team to integrate RBC applications onto IAM solutions (Authentication/Azure AD, CyberArk, SailPoint IIQ, GDS etc.). This process will require you to work with a wide range of technology and business stakeholders to implement IAM solutions.
