The Group Liquidity and Global Cash Management is responsible for reporting and managing liquidity and funding risk for the bank.  The Senior Analyst, Liquidity Regulatory Reporting is focused on:

 

  • Regulatory reporting (Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Net Cumulative Cash Flow, Net Stable Funding Ratio, H4 Pledged Collateral Report, OSFI Supplemental Information Return and H4 Report),
  • Financial reporting (MD&A and financial statement note disclosures), and;
  • Management reporting against internal limits (deposit counterparties, derivative collateral, securities funding transactions)

 

Is this role right for you?  In this role, you will:

 

  • Be responsible for creating test cases and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Bank of Canada Securities Return Project
  • Work with various stakeholders including technology team and internal reporting team from Treasury and clarify the business requirements and UAT testing results
  • Help to establish operational processes for the Bank of Canada Securities Return Project
  • Support daily, monthly and quarterly operation of regulatory reports, with the focus on the Bank of Canada Securities Return Project
  • Support the Director of Global Cash & Liquidity Management to review and enhance risk management practices, methodologies, and operational processes
  • Provide effective business solutions to ensure accordance with the regulatory updates and rapidly changing technology
  • Other routine and ad-hoc tasks as required.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:

 

  • 3 years of experience in the banking industry with a focus on treasury, capital markets or regulatory reporting
  • Strong background in accounting and financial statement analysis as well as a detailed understanding of banking products across business lines
  • Working knowledge of Python and SQL an asset
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High performance, pragmatic, detail-oriented team player able to work well in a complex, demanding and fast-paced environment.
