In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, management, optimization, and maintenance of the ERP system, ensuring it meets the specific needs of the organization.
You will play an advisory role that involves working closely with functional teams and internal partners to ensure effective integration and optimal use of the ERP system. You will be involved directly in the design, implementation, or evolution of the solution while ensuring product quality. Strong interpersonal skills, communication, and pedagogy will be required to provide functional and technical support to end users.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as an advisor and analyze the organization's ERP system needs to propose appropriate technical solutions and address business requirements;
Participate in the implementation of the ERP system, ensuring it meets the company's specific requirements;
Data Integration: Ensure data and information flow consistency, reliability, and optimization between different modules of the ERP software and other information systems within the company or client organization. This may involve data import from existing systems, setting up connections with other applications, or data migration to the new ERP;
Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into ERP system functionalities while considering regulatory constraints and strategic objectives;
Configure, set up, and test selected ERP software modules, adhering to quality, security, and performance standards based on organizational needs;
Prioritize technical functionalities through precise user stories;
Custom Report Development: Assist the team in gathering requirements and align development with best practices;
Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough tests to ensure that the ERP system is functional, reliable, and meets business requirements. In case of issues, the ERP technical expert should diagnose and resolve technical problems;
Ensure product quality and user satisfaction;
Identify risks and seize opportunities related to your specialty area, communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders, and advocate for action plans;
Contribute to change management and continuous improvement of business processes through the ERP software.
Support deployment strategies related to business solutions impacted by the ERP;
Post-implementation Support: Provide ongoing technical support to resolve issues or answer questions;
Ensure data and information flow consistency, reliability, and optimization between different modules of the ERP software and other company information systems;
Plan and participate in product upgrade activities;
Monitor, analyze, and lead technological and scientific developments in your field of expertise (technical and competitive surveillance).
The key to success!
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information science, business administration, or a related field;
10 to 15 years of relevant experience or a combination of relevant experience and education;
Experience with business solutions (ERP) related to finance and investment in the real estate sector;
Experience with data applications, conversion, and integration;
Experience as a functional analyst or business solution analyst is a plus;
Experience with agile methodology is a plus. • Knowledge of SQL is an asset;
Strong client-oriented relationship skills, influence, and engagement;
High organizational skills, priority management, and good judgment in assessing urgency levels;
Ability to synthesize information, simplify complex concepts, and maintain rigor;
Partnership mindset, political and cultural sensitivity;
Bilingualism (French and English - spoken and written). Oral and/or written interactions with external partners based outside of Quebec (service providers, law firms, peers, bankers, brokerage firms, credit analysis firms, credit agencies, etc.).
