To support that challenge, the Seeds team is currently seeking a Seeds Agronomic Assistant Intern in Ontario. As an Agronomic Assistant Intern, you will work alongside our Seed Agronomist team to provide outstanding customer service and support to growers and retailers.

Accountabilities

• Coordinate and execute commercial NK seed field trials and collect in season data as required
• Provide support to Agronomist in collaboration with the sales team within your territory
• Support in providing superior customer service to growers and retailers
• Gain valuable experience in agricultural practices, knowledge of our products, and direct interaction with grower and retail customers

Duration:  April 2024 – August 2024

• A positive attitude, excitement for learning, and passion for agriculture
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university in Agriculture, Science, Business or related field
• ‘G’ class license
• Ability to lift a max weight of 50lbs
• Comfortable driving long distances

You might also have:

• Prior experience in research is considered an asset
• Previous relevant summer experience is considered an asset, however all experience levels and academic disciplines are welcome to apply
