The Regional Execution SCM team is looking for a SCM Advisor to support Regional Turnarounds in the Fort McMurray area. In this role, as SCM functional lead for assigned Turnaround events, you will be responsible to ensure all SCM requirements including procurement, materials management, logistics and contracting are completed to support successful Turnaround execution and close out.
Minimum Requirements:
5-10 years Supply Chain experience
Post–secondary education in Supply Chain, Business or related field
Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, S4 and Fieldglass
Ability to meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the organization
Key Responsibilities:
Represent the entire SCM function to Regional Turnaround stakeholders
Ensure all SCM event deliverables are completed on time, in a quality manner
Collaborate with stakeholders including Suppliers, Procurement and Materials Services to ensure materials and services are available on time for Turnaround Execution
Collaborate with SCM and Turnaround stakeholders to develop solutions when on time material and service delivery is not an option
Steward SCM performance to Core and Steering Teams
Identify and manage event specific SCM risks
Identify, support and drive strategies/initiatives to improve SCM service levels, efficiency and deliver cost and operational value
Support Business stakeholders in building out longer term demand plans for upcoming events to support Category Management/MSP Strategy and Commercial planning activities
Champion Manage Goods & Services processes
Location and other Key Details:
This is an office-based role; you will work out of our Fort McMurray Base Plant location
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday with a requirement for additional hours to support event execution
If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory. Relocation support will be considered for the right candidate; we offer competitive housing assistance to eligible individuals
