Teaching schedule: Virtual; Synchronous Format – Fridays, 10:30 am – 1:20 pm (two hours lecture, one hour tutorial)
Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties:
Jews and Judaism in a century of catastrophe and renewal. The progress of Emancipation; Jews in Canada and the U.S.; the Jewish catastrophe in Europe; the Jewish state; Jewish identities in literature and the arts.
Required Qualifications:
Eligible candidates are those with a completed PhD in Religious Studies (or related discipline) as well as graduate students whose university funding has expired; doctoral students who apply must have completed all course work and comprehensive exams
*Supplemented Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement. The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount. If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
