Role Overview:
Our Client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, expand into new global markets, and lead a high-performing sales team. This role is pivotal in shifting the company’s approach from a service-based model to a proactive outbound sales strategy, ensuring strong customer acquisition and retention. The Sales Manager will oversee inside sales operations, manage key accounts, and collaborate closely with leadership to optimize sales performance.
This position requires a leader with a deep understanding of B2B sales, a tech-savvy mindset, and the ability to harness data-driven strategies to penetrate new markets effectively. Given the company’s strong presence in the U.S. and plans to expand in Europe, the ideal candidate should have experience with international sales and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to achieve revenue targets.
Drive outbound prospecting efforts to establish new client relationships, particularly in the Avionics, Military, Rail Signaling & Switching Equipment, and Healthcare industries.
Spearhead global expansion initiatives, collaborating with international agencies to enhance market reach.
Conduct monthly sales reviews and provide detailed forecasting for leadership.
Team Development & Leadership
Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Inside Sales Representatives and Customer Service personnel.
Conduct performance evaluations, set learning plans, and ensure continuous professional development.
Foster a collaborative and high-integrity sales culture, prioritizing ethical business practices and strong customer relationships.
Business Execution & Customer Management
Ensure rapid response to customer inquiries, RFQs, and service requests while maintaining high levels of satisfaction.
Utilize CRM and data analytics tools to track sales pipelines and optimize prospecting efforts.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams to align sales strategies with business capabilities.
Manage relationships with third-party sales agencies to support high-value customer accounts.
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to build brand presence and foster partnerships.

Required Experience & Skills:
Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within Avionics, Military, Rail Signaling, or Healthcare industries.
Experience in opening and developing new markets, with an emphasis on global expansion.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; Odoo ERP experience is an asset.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and coaching a sales team.
Ability to travel internationally for market expansion (1-2 trips per year).
Bilingual proficiency (English and French) is highly desirable due to the company’s location.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary: $100K–$120K
performance-based bonuses (5-10% of salary).
