As the Retail Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination, delivery, and execution of key operational initiatives. Led by the Retail Operations Manager, this opportunity will suit someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decisions to drive business initiatives and success for our Field Team.
Ready to make an impact in a new role? Here’s how:
- Responsible for the coordination and execution of field communications, the creation and upkeep of field team operational playbooks, monthly operational webinars, weekly field operational updates, operational calendar planning, and cross functional gate keeping.
- Coordinating and supporting monthly field training, collecting field feedback through Voice of the Field to support corporate objectives.
- Collaborate with a variety of cross functional departments within the Operations department such as Communications, Retail Education, and Dealer Development and external departments such as eCommerce, Merchandise, Logistics, HR, and Supply Chain.
- Support as a SME for select operational practices to be implemented in Home stores.
- Assist in the development of tactical execution plans to support projects; support with the management of project deadlines and communicate regular status updates to the Retail Operations Manager.
- Additional projects as requested by the Retail Operations Manager and Senior Director of Retail Sales and Operations.
We’re looking for:
- Diploma or degree in Business or Marketing an asset.
- Three to five years of practical experience directly managing store operations for a major retail organization. Minimum five years of operations experience.
- A thorough understanding of retail operations and retail store environments.
- Ability to manage, lead, and coach to a team to ensure success in delivery and execution.
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and working knowledge of standard software used in the retail industry.
- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort with public speaking with various stakeholders as the subject matter expert in retail and store operations.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to develop a project plan or execute on predetermined plan.
- Ability to travel and work additional or varied hours as required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
- Fluency in both English and French would be an asset.
- The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
