Platform & Cloud Architecture Intern

Platform and Cloud Architect Intern will be responsible for supporting the platform architecture team to develop and deliver technical solutions on Platform and Cloud areas. They will participate on evaluating business goals, assessments, technical directions, develop technical architectures, design / develop proposals and provide consulting. They will be part of a nimble and forward-thinking Architectural team.

They will develop knowledge & experience across multiple technology domains including Enterprise Cloud, DevOps and Agile to design solutions for a variety of Digital Transformation initiatives and to manage existing infrastructure. In this role, they will interface with and manage senior technology professionals to act as the supportive technical interface for a variety of project initiatives supporting infrastructure initiatives.

• Designing solutions in public cloud

• Implementing best practices around security & platform tools

• Having knowledge around micro services based architecture & service communication patterns

• Having basic knowledge of python programming

• Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full Time Capacity

Must Have Skills:

• Working knowledge of System architecture

• Working knowledge of automation – Ansible, Terraform

• Able to demonstrate a project from end-to-end design perspective

• Familiarity with python & yaml format

• Familiarity with cloud native technologies 

Nice To Have Skills:

• Any prior knowledge of cloud deployment

• Any knowledge of Infrastructure automation
