Customer Centricity Intern

This is a unique opportunity to work with and support our Commercial Partnerships & Client Solutions team at Interac! This group works directly with our clients and industry partners. You will have exciting opportunity to work with many key players across the organization and must establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.  


You will directly support the Customer Centricity team on exciting projects such as Enterprise CRM, Voice of Customer Program, Client Experience Program and much more related to enhancing market engagement at Interac.  

You're Great At...

  • Providing continuous support and coordination of key activities and initiatives through consultation with cross-functional internal stakeholders. 
  • Supporting your team with regular updates and ad hoc request as they arise, you are highly adaptable. 
  • Identifying industry trends and concerns by researching and analyzing client and marketplace data. 
  • Visualizing quantitative and qualitative data for a various internal stakeholders using PowerPoint.
  • Analyzing performance metrics and data, creating dashboards and reports, and uncovering industry and market trends/insights. 

Who Are You?

  • Currently completing an undergraduate degree from a creditable institution with a focus on Business, Economics, or a similar program. 
  • You have the desire to learn more about customer experience and payment products & services. 
  • You have a passion for problem-solving and wish to learn more about the payment strategies of leading financial institutions.  
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • You exhibit meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management & organizational skills. 
  • You are curious by nature and enjoy learning new things and ways of working. 
  • You don’t take yourself too seriously and enjoy having fun at work.  
  • Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full Time Capacity.

Must Have Skills:

  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). 
  • Strong written communication and presentation design skills. 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively.
  • A strong work ethic, a desire for continuous improvement and a commitment to excellence.

Nice To Have Skills:

  • Ability to understand, articulate and recommend solutions for complex problems.
  • A passion to develop knowledge and skills in the payments industry 
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel functions (Macros, PowerQuery, VLookUp, XLookUp)
  • Organization and project management skills (event/campaign planning)
  • Previous experience using a CRM (ie. Salesforce, Hubspot)

PLEASE NOTE: to be eligible for Interac internship roles, the candidate must be currently enrolled in a post secondary academic institution.
