Product Design and Development Intern

This full stack product development intern position, reporting into the Product department, and reporting to the AVP Product Design and development  is focused on rapid prototyping & software development of tools, capabilities and solutions targeting the next generation of Interac product capabilities. Working closely with product owners, you will transform rough concepts into working prototypes, reusable tools, and in some cases production code.  The team is also given the opportunity to work on a project or capability of their own choosing (within the Payments and Transfers space), and will be given the opportunity to pitch their project to the organization.

• Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full Time Capacity

Must Have Skills:

• Experience in Software Design/Coding

• Experience developing solutions/projects that run on AWS or Azure

• Experience with NodeJS/TS, HTML/CSS

• Experience/familiarity in writing and automating tests/test cases/unit tests 

Nice To Have Skills:

• Experience developing for native mobile or hybrid/cross platform (IOS/Android)

• Team/Project leadership experience

• Front-End/UI Development Experience
