Fraud Services Analyst
Responsible for supporting the development and implementation of fraud mitgation solutions so that the Interac platform is operating with best-in-class capabilities that are aligned to the business, minimize fraud risk, and provide measurable value for our clients.
The incumbent will support the delivery of Konek and our Digital Overlay programs by evaluating client insights, data, and market trends to help shape requirements and policies. They will conduct research to identify, assess, and report emerging risks that indicate potential exposure to fraud and financial crimes. They will also provide subject matter expertise in the development of fraud use cases and possible solutions to offer Canadian businesses trusted advice and security. They will document, communicate, and simplify product and fraud requirements to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders.

Support the creation of product & fraud vision and roadmaps, including key features and capabilities.
Document and define fraud use cases and requirements for commerce and digital overlay platforms.
Support the execution of fraud roadmaps with measurable KPIs fully aligned with product and business line strategies.
Collect and research client and data insights, as well as fraud and market trends to help inform strategic direction, requirements, and policies for new and existing product and services.
Assess and make recommendations to help drive opportunities for optimization and expand fraud capabilities and policies aligned to the product strategy and vision.
Collaborate with all teams involved in fraud delivery to review and communicate requirements.
Act as a fraud subject matter expert and go to person for commerce and digital overlay programs.
Support an agile methodology approach to product and fraud management based on the specified product lifecycle.
Makes recommendations on business opportunities to expand fraud capabilities and policies aligned to the product strategy and vision.
Support Interac operating model and new ways of working together; be a champion of change for your peers.
Prioritization of the highest value initiatives and solutions to ensure faster delivery of fraud capabilities that are aligned to business goals, which drive market growth of Interac based on our key organizational value proposition to delivering trust & security.
Supports business/product owner and management on the development of key fraud features and capabilities for products.
Who are you?
University degree or equivalent (e.g., business, product management, risk, fraud)
Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full Time Capacity
2+ years of work experience in a fraud management or product management role
Experience in the payments industry or financial services is preferred.
Understanding of the fraud landscape and vulnerabilities exploited by fraudsters.
Professional designation/degree in business or project management an asset.
Knowledge of Canadian Payment Industry, payments transaction data and process flow an asset.
Reasonable understanding of fraud implications, fraud management and detection. Methodologies in the payments industry, particularly as it pertains to commerce & digital payments.
Knowledge of payments fraud, fraud vectors and scam types.
Strong analytical acumen, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team but the confidence and presence to work independently.
Commitment to excellence in providing quality, effective and value-added service to clients.
Ability to maintain confidences and work with confidential material
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Experience or familiarity with working in an Agile methodology.
Excellent inter-personal skills, communication
Excellent oral/written and presentation skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Oral and written proficiency in French is considered an asset
