Private Sector Sales AVP

In this exciting new position, you will have a foundational role in helping Interac shape the future of secure digital identity in Canada, allowing Canadians to transact in the digital economy with confidence.

As AVP of private sector sales, you will be accountable for driving the growth of the Digital ID business cementing strong relationships that will position Interac as a leader in the evolution of digital ID products and services in Canada.

This position builds sales and growth strategies and will be responsible for ongoing business development and market share plans and customer engagement that will accelerate Interac's digital ID solution adoption and help drive innovation across Canada.

You will be responsible for…

  • Contributing to the delivery of revenue growth opportunities and sales results to cement Interac as a leader in Canada's Digital ID ecosystem.

  • Acquiring and building strong client relationships across private sector verticals with a priority focus on financial and technology sectors

  • Support the creation and delivery of business development plans, sales targets, and results, and contributing the creation of business unit strategic and annual operating plans.

  • Building relationships with stakeholders to drive more strategic discussions and entrenchment with Interac.

  • Identifying new growth opportunities and networking with industry contacts to gather competitive insights and best practices.

  • Building sales and industry presentations and representing Interac at Digital ID events to elevate the profile of Interac as leaders in the space.

  • Sharing feedback on the product, processes, etc. to internal stakeholders to ensure continual enhancement of the offering.

  • Constructing the role as an industry 'thought leader,' acting as a key contact for internal/external stakeholder relationships, as it relates to the Digital ID business.

  • Building strong relationships across the Digital ID and broader Interac teams.

  • Developing, managing and maintaining analytical strategies to continually improve sales strategies  

  • Making recommendations for sales strategy based on analytics, competitive landscape and market needs. 

  • Influencing sales targets and timeframes for Interac’s Business Development function and the Digital ID business unit

Who are you?

  • You have 10-15 years of experience working in sales and business development

  • Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full Time Capacity

  • You have strong business development experience with a proven track record of delivering profitable business growth.

  • You are a self-starter with outstanding leadership and management skills.

  • You are passionate about growing the Digital ID business and enabling Canadians to transact securely.

  • You can convey technical concepts and have a proven track record of managing simultaneous initiatives, solving problems, and applying effective planning skills to deliver multiple initiatives successfully.

  • You have a collaborative approach that will build trust across the ecosystem and deliver top and bottom-line results

  • You are a highly motivated, energetic, and hands-on professional with strong leadership skills who can guide, motivate, and engage team members at all levels of the organization.

  • You can convey technical concepts and have a proven track record of managing simultaneous initiatives, solving problems, and applying effective planning skills to deliver multiple initiatives successfully.
