Reporting to the Product Management Leader, the Product Manager will be responsible for the vision, strategy, development, delivery, and management of Interac Debit. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of developing a detailed, long-term vision that guides the evolution of the Debit product in Canada.
You'll be responsible for:
Developing and executing a forward-thinking approach to understand the product's mission, its place within the market, and growth opportunities.
Supporting the Product Owner in conducting market research and partnering with the Strategy team to leverage available research, identifying industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape at the product and/or squad level.
Leveraging multiple data points to help prioritize product roadmap decisions in close partnership with the Product Owner.
Identifying opportunities for improvements and making data-driven decisions. Defining, measuring, and optimizing around product KPIs & business objectives.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
Navigating ambiguity & managing stakeholders to drive commercial success of the product.
Developing and framing materials/presentations that support senior management in articulating findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Demonstrating confidence in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way.
Setting clear, achievable goals that align with broader Interac strategic objectives.
Driving insights and actionable next steps from quantitative and qualitative product data and market research.
Prioritizing work and project initiatives effectively.
Exercising master stakeholder negotiation skills.
Approaching problem-solving creatively with a consumer-centric focus.
You bring:
3-4 years of hands-on experience as a Product Manager with the ability to solve issues and coordinate across teams.
Strong working knowledge of Agile development methodologies and Scrum environments, combined with the ability to be fluid on day-to-day business planning activities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to ensure plans, product development, and product strategy are clearly communicated.
Strong analytical skills; effective at breaking down complex problems and driving and managing change.
A passion for technology, payments and web savviness as an early adopter.
Proactive problem-solving skills with a demonstrated track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Proficiency in prioritization of work and project initiatives.
Experience in Agile and Scrum environments.
Capability in drafting business requirements, user stories, and managing product backlogs within JIRA.
Talent in Microsoft PowerPoint with experience crafting visionary narratives for executive audiences.
Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full Time Capacity
