We are hiring a  Registered Pharmacy Technician, Central Pharmacy Services.  

The hours are Sunday-Thursday 2 PM to 10 PM with requirements to work some statutory holidays and coverage for other shifts when needed. 

About Us:

Central Pharmacy Services is a division of Loblaw/Shoppers Drug Mart that centrally fills prescriptions for patients and provides other prescription processing services. These centralized services enable the Pharmacist and team at Shoppers Drug Mart locations to spend their time focusing on what is important – the patient! Provide great service, specific expertise, and actionable advice to support Associate-Owners and their staff in delivering the best health, beauty, and convenience services to Canadians

What You'll Do: 

• Conduct product verification on CPAKs and vials prepared to ensure accuracy and completeness of all prescription orders prior to delivery  
• Work with various forms of automation, such as Count Assist, ParataMax, VBM robots 
• Perform Quality Assurance to meet business needs 
• Assist in store communication via email/fax/phone 

 
What You'll Need: 

• A minimum of 1-2 year of continuous work experience as a pharmacist in a pharmacy environment (Long Term Care, Hospital or Retail) 
• Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) 
• Experience with high volume filling environments an asset 
• Effective written and verbal communication skills 
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills 
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
•  Attention to detail 
• Team player 
• Must be able to complete work with minimum supervision
