How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Responsible for assisting with the facilitation of nutritional events and services in relation to food services on campus
- Lead healthy eating information sessions, nutrition awareness, and engagement within Food Service facilities
- Showcase nutrition through engaging group sessions in conjunction with Food Services and University partners
- Lead nutrition sessions focused on sport nutrition
- Provision of healthy eating nutritional information based on highlights of student’s year for distribution in print, social media, digital signage
- Collaborate with Dietetic Interns as required
- Provide one-on-one counselling on referral basis
- Coordinate individual dietary needs with Food Services and University Housing
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition from an approved university program and completion of approved Dietetic Internship Program
- Registered Dietitian
- 1-3 years’ experience as a Dietitian
- Excellent knowledge of nutrition and education techniques
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skill
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong teaching and coaching skills
- Possess initiative to develop and improve systems
- Working knowledge of the Ministry of Health Guidelines
