About the Opportunity:
As the successful candidate you will have a Law Clerk or Legal Assistant Diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 - 3 years experience as a Real Estate Clerk. Your primary responsibility will be to handle all aspects of residential real estate transactions, which includes preparing legal documents for purchase, sale, and mortgage transactions, drafting agreements, ordering title insurance policies, communicating effectively with lawyers, clients, real estate agents, banks, and mortgage brokers, and dealing with post closing matters. Experience with MS Office, Teraview and Conveyancer are a must and knowledge of PC Law and Worldox will be considered an asset.
You are a team player who thrives in an environment that offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of individuals, both independently and as part of a team. You have a passion for technology and a desire to keep abreast of the latest industry software. You will have excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask, all of which will assist you in working in this fast-paced environment.
