Adecco is currently hiring a Quality Control Inspector for a full-time opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys hands-on inspection work in a manufacturing environment and takes pride in ensuring product quality and compliance.

In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet company standards. You will work with assembly documentation, identify non-conforming materials, and support quality control processes that help reduce production issues, rework, and recalls. The role also involves supporting engineering teams with continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining accurate quality records.

  • Salary: $19/hour

  • Location: Ottawa, ON

  • Schedule: Day Shifts

  • Employment Type: Full-time | Temporary

Responsibilities

  • Conduct repetitive inspection of products and materials against established standards and checklists

  • Identify and segregate non-conforming materials

  • Read and interpret assembly and process documentation

  • Apply knowledge of IPC 610 standards in inspections

  • Escalate quality or process issues to Technical Support or Engineering and assist in root cause analysis

  • Recognize discrepancies in documentation or product quality and recommend improvements

  • Conduct product inspections and record findings according to procedures

  • Perform inventory control, cycle counts, and related computer transactions

  • Support engineering teams with continuous improvement initiatives

  • Apply ECO modifications and technical instructions as required

  • Record and maintain accurate daily inspection data

  • Conduct process audits in manufacturing environments when required

  • Prepare components and assist with wire, cable, and harness assembly

  • Follow all safety procedures and performance standards

  • Support other operational needs as required

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and standards

  • Working knowledge of IPC 610 standard is an asset

  • Experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment is an asset

  • Ability to perform repetitive inspection tasks accurately

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Comfortable working with inventory systems and computer transactions

  • Ability to follow safety procedures and quality standards consistently
