Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Purchaser to join our client’s dynamic team in Scarborough, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials and services, negotiating supplier agreements, and maintaining efficient inventory levels. You should be detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled at building strong supplier relationships to support operational success.

Pay Rate: $35.00/hour

Shift: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet company needs. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure optimal value.
Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking. Prepare and issue purchase orders to maintain supply continuity.
Ensure purchased goods and services meet required specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Analyze market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and benchmark supplier pricing for competitiveness.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and communications in line with company policies and legal regulations.
Partner with finance, operations, and other internal teams to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement. Experience with electronic parts procurement is a strong asset.
Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
Strong communication and relationship management abilities.
Proficiency with purchasing or ERP software and market research tools.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
