Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Project Engineering Lead to support the development and execution of aerospace controls systems programs. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong engineering leader with experience managing complex aerospace development projects in highly regulated environments.
The successful candidate will provide engineering leadership to a multidisciplinary Controls Systems team, driving program execution, resource planning, risk management, and project performance while ensuring program objectives are delivered on time and within budget.
This position is primarily remote, with occasional onsite attendance required for key meetings and stakeholder interactions.
*This role requires security clearance as per CGP which would be open to Permanent Residents and Canadian Citizens.
Pay Rate: $60.00/hour

Responsibilities:
Provide project engineering leadership to a multidisciplinary Controls Systems team
Develop and manage program Estimates at Completion (EAC)
Create and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
Support resource planning and forecasting activities in collaboration with PMO and Planning teams
Implement and manage Earned Value Management (EVM) practices
Provide direction and prioritization to engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery
Monitor project performance and develop metrics to track program health, schedule, cost, and technical progress
Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive corrective actions
Communicate project status, challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams
Support technical decision-making and program execution in a fast-paced aerospace environment
Enable effective collaboration across engineering disciplines and remote teams
Remove barriers to project success and ensure team alignment with program objectives
Support customer-facing activities and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in:
Electrical Engineering
Controls Systems Engineering
Software Engineering
Systems Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Or a related discipline
Minimum 6–8 years of experience in an aerospace engineering environment
Minimum 3–5 years of project engineering leadership experience within aerospace development programs
Experience supporting aerospace programs governed by:
DO-178B/C
DO-254
ARP4754
Strong project management, planning, scheduling, and execution experience
Experience developing and managing EACs, project schedules, and performance metrics
Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities
Experience leading cross-functional and remote engineering teams
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments
Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and deliver results
Experience with requirements management tools and processes
Familiarity with aerospace control systems
Broad understanding of:
Aircraft systems
Aircraft subsystems
Aerospace certification methods
Program management principles
Experience working on military aerospace development programs
Strong customer relationship management skills
Ability to establish objectives, monitor performance metrics, and provide constructive feedback
Controlled Goods Program (CGP) Clearance is required
Candidates must be eligible to support military development programs
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
