IBM seeks to hire a Project Control Officer (PCO)
Main Responsibilities:
- Management of Microsoft Project Plan and Schedule
- Generate Reports from Microsoft Project
- Create and manage Status reports including the creation of a deck, following up with working with the team, and synthesizing information into view for a senior management audience.
- Manage RAID log and understand relationships between risks, issues, etc.
- Take/distribute minutes in an organized way, follow up with action items
- Co-own the Status Report and take the initiative to complete the status report with the contributors
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with working in a large financial Institution and understanding of the financial institute
- Experienced with application software development/SDLC Excellent
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with PowerPoint, MSP, Excel, confluence, and other MS products
- Ability to work independently
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- PM training and or certification as well as experience working in a large multi-disciplinary team.
Must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.
