Production Managers are leaders who are responsible for ensuring employee safety, producing quality products, and using resources efficiently. A typical career next step is to become a Plant Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Leads team by following procedures and demonstrating safe work behaviors.
• Works alongside the team to assemble wood components depending on project needs.
• Works in a fast-paced environment and meets or exceeds production targets.
• Communicates information and priorities to the team and ensures they have the direction and tools needed to complete their tasks.
• Assists on maintaining consistent daily production output regardless of complexities of individual projects.
• Batching of projects.
• Manages employee performance, identifies training opportunities, and develops talent to align with future business requirements. 
• Supports the Plant Manager in business growth and operational development.

Requirements:

• Safety mindset.
• High attention to detail
• Able to do physical work.
• Leadership experience is required.
• Computer skills are considered an asset.
• Carpentry or framing experience is considered an asset.
• Can manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivates others through their positive attitude to always be improving.
• Demonstrates the drive and commitment needed to reach goals.
