The Opportunity:
12-month work term: possibility to tailor duration based on candidate’s availability
How You Will Contribute:
As a member of the tools and automation team within the Product Verification group, you will participate in the creation and management of scripts and tools utilized as part of the system level testing of our next generation product and solutions. The position will expose a prospective candidate to technology including software programming, fiber optic communications and data networking.
Work responsibilities can include building telecommunication networks, writing software (scripts) to improve efficiency, system test or database management. You will also be involved in the analysis of test results and reporting of issues.

The Must Haves:
- Working towards completion of computer science or engineering degree
- Knowledge of Python programming language
- Ability to develop and program test automation scripts
- Strong communication skills are important
Assets:
- Prior co-op experience in telecommunications
- Strong knowledge in Linux
