We are now recruiting for a Product Owner to join our Delivery Services team. This role is currently working from home 4 days a week and 1 day a week at our head office in Burnaby, BC. Apply this week if you would like to take on this role.

Key Ways This Position Makes An Impact

The Product Owner acts for the business owner for a business program, product, or service and defines, shapes, and delivers the operational plan.

This role guides and influences the identification, definition and prioritization of work alongside the Project Manager and Scrum Master.

In this role, you would implement solutions through Agile teams in collaboration with executives and operational leaders.

You would have accountability for ensuring the integrity and security of technology systems.

This role apply Agile (SAFe) project management methodology to all stages of visioning, roadmap development, and iteration execution.

You would provide expertise in strategic planning and program delivery stages, build relationships with leaders and Agile teams.

In this role you would participate in planning and budgeting cycles by providing insight, forecasts and recommendations about initiatives.

Key Experiences You Bring To This Role

  • University degree with an emphasis in product management, project management in an Agile environment, or operations management
  • Certification in Scaled Agile Framework Product Owner or Product Manager or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience including:

o Working within a Lean and Agile software delivery team

o Progressively senior roles in business and information technology

o Ability to apply product management principles and practices in an operational setting

o Working knowledge of design thinking with Lean and Agile Software delivery
