ntelligent Conversation & Communications Cloud (IC3) is an org within the Microsoft 365 (M365) portfolio of products that powers billions of high quality audio/video calls, meetings and messages for Microsoft Teams. Millions of customers around the globe rely 24/7 on the services that we build for running their core businesses. Powering all of this takes a set of well architected, globally distributed, highly scalable services and applications. Our group is responsible for building and growing these services and we need exceptional technical program management talent to do that.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements for managing and administrating Teams Phone System
  • Define requirements for innovative administrative and user voice communications experiences
  • Define and drive a cloud service architecture and solutions that support small business to large enterprises at scale
  • Drive business rhythm across multiple teams to deliver commitments on time and at high quality
  • Publish field and customer facing product documentation and information
  • Engage with various internal teams and customers to measure, evaluate, and drive improvements to the Phone System product

Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in Technical program management or software engineering building distributed systems
  • Bachelor and or Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or the equivalent
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with cloud based technologies and systems design – multiple services, storage, compute, authentication; Azure experience is a plus
  • Ability to interface with customers as well as internal partners and stakeholders to gather requirements, write specifications, drive/influence the appropriate technical design, and developing schedules and plans for delivering it
  • Outstanding organizational and collaboration skills with a demonstrated history of successfully designing and driving complex products that span multiple organizational boundaries
  • Experience with telemetry, instrumentation, and reporting platforms is a plus
  • Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast-paced and changing environment


Preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise voice communications systems and services
  • Demonstrated experience in the entire software development life cycle – planning, costing, milestones, acceptance criteria, grooming
  • Experience and expertise with M365 Azure Active Directory, licensing, and administrative capabilities
  • Expertise in Azure services and technologies
