How You Will Make an Impact
The Physiotherapist will support a health equity approach to client care in the delivery of evidence-based interventions for older adults (55yrs+) living in community settings. This will include the assessment of clients' physical abilities, making physiotherapy diagnosis, establishing treatment goals with clients based on their diagnoses, developing and implementing physiotherapy treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, manipulations, massage, education, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy and other modalities, as required.
The role involves providing evidence-based Physiotherapy interventions, adhering to the standards and regulations of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (OCPTO).

The responsibilities include collecting client and program data as per Good Shepherd and OCPTO standards, evaluating client responses, and documenting all relevant information while maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to privacy legislation.
You are able to respond professionally during high-pressure situations, effectively communicate and coordinate care interventions, and provide health-related information and counseling to clients and families.
