This Part-Time Academic will be fully responsible for the teaching and grading of THEA 3801.03 Acting 3a, from September 1 to December 31, 2023 (Fall Term). This course is a requirement for students enrolled in the Honours BA in Theatre (Acting Program), and this academic/practitioner will instruct students in action-based script analysis and scene study through Restoration Comedy of Manners, Modern Realism, and Contemporary Canadian texts. The instructor will be required to provide a method of assessment, prepare and grade all written and performance work, and to calculate and then submit final marks. This position works in collaboration with full-time Acting Program faculty, is expected to participate in the day-to-day administration of the Acting Program and reports to the Director of the Fountain School of Performing Arts.
