A part-time academic is required to teach section GERM 1004.03: German for Beginners II (Section 4) – Winter Term 2027 (January 1, 2027 – April 30, 2027)

Course Description:
This course is the continuation of GERM 1003, and should be taken sequentially or in cases where students have a prior knowledge of the language and have been placed at this level by the Academic Advisor. The course emphasizes the spoken language, and provides the student with a thorough knowledge of basic grammar. Conversational tutorials are a required part of the course.

The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including admission, lectures, test preparation, evaluation, and electronic submission of grades. Instructors are expected to maintain reliable and constant communication with the administration of the Department, to be available for two hours per week for consultation with students, and to have students fill out the evaluation questionnaire at the end of the course.
