Are you a dedicated paralegal with a passion for estate planning and administration? Look no further! We're on the hunt for a superstar paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you'll embark on a journey through the intricate world of estate law, offering invaluable support to our esteemed private client group.
What You'll Be Doing:
Drafting and Revising:
- Craft initial drafts of estate planning documents, including wills and powers of attorney.
- Assist with probate and administration application materials under the guidance of our legal experts.
- Manage financial documentation and ensure precise reporting, while overseeing fund transactions.
- Summarize complex financial data and deliver comprehensive reports to our clients.
️ Reviewing and Document Management:
- Take the reins on estate administration processes and procedures.
- Conduct meticulous searches and report on wills notices and other essential findings.
- Perform due diligence on various matters, including corporate records, financial documents, and more.
- Keep our precedent system for estate planning and administration updated and efficient.
Preparing and Assembling:
- Provide essential assistance to executors and administrators during estate administration.
- Ensure the smooth transmission and transfer of estate assets and prepare meticulous accounts.
Liaising and Communicating:
- Collaborate closely with solicitors and clients, diligently following instructions throughout the case.
- Establish communication channels with financial institutions and gather crucial estate asset information.
- Act as the primary point of contact with government agencies, including the probate registry and Public Guardian and Trustee's Office.
- Flag potential issues and ensure seamless communication with supervising solicitors.
- Mentor and oversee support staff to ensure a well-oiled team.
- Engage in client interviews and facilitate document execution through phone and email correspondence.
Qualifications That Shine:
