We’re seeking an Paralegal, Legal Affairs, to partner with key stakeholders and peers to support and engage with our powerful networks of people, opportunities, and investments. ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As a Paralegal, Legal Affairs, you'll:
Ensure appropriate incorporation, organization and maintenance of PSP Investments’ subsidiaries.
Ensure appropriate updates of the minute books and corporate registers of PSP Investments’ subsidiaries, namely preparation and filing of federal and extra-provincial annual reports, Quebec registrations and annual declarations, extra-provincial registrations, CALURA (Statistics Canada) and annual resolutions.
Act as the main point of contact for “know your client” requests.
Ensure that corporate profiles of PSP Investments’ subsidiaries are appropriately updated.
Participate in standardizing corporate legal documents and creating a bank of corporate precedents.
Assist in preparation of various banking documents for PSP Investments’ subsidiaries.
Assist in various internal quarterly processes required by established procedures.
Act as an intermediary and coordinate/confirm information required by other departments.
Participate in the realization of various projects carried out by the Paralegal team.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Diploma of college studies in Paralegal Technology or degree in a relevant field.
1-3 years of experience within legal department and/or law firm.
Must be bilingual (English and French, spoken and written)
Proficient with MS Office
Determination and close attention to detail
Autonomous, dynamic and proactive
Able to work as part of a team
Able to manage several files methodically at the same time and meet deadlines
Flexibility and keen interest in rising to new challenges and working for an expanding organization
