Posting Description
The Order Fulfillment Clerk will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders by means of picking, packing, and shipping goods to their destination within established guidelines
Here's what you'll get to do
- Ensure orders are accurately and safely picked, packed and shipped with processes followed
- Works with the SickKids receiving department to ensure orders are sent to shipping company daily
- Advises Manager or Inventory Co-Ordinator of any out of stock and /or shortages
- Performs the receiving function for all merchandise, checks orders to packing slips and purchase orders and receives into inventory system
- Maintains product quality through rotation of products and expiry date checks
- Maintains efficient flow of merchandise from the stockroom to the selling area
- Assists with annual inventory counts
- Complies with and ensures all loss prevention systems and procedures are performed according to established guidelines
- Ensures stock areas are secured after leaving or while in the area
- Complies with all HSC Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Ensure aisles and floors are kept clear and safe for customers and employees
- Ensure key controls are in place at all times
- Has a clear understanding of the operation's workflow and priorities, especially the e-commerce order processes
- Follows up with customers questions regarding their order status
Here's what you'll need
- Minimum Grade 12 education required
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Provides efficient and pleasant customer service
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written in English
- Basic proficiency with computers
- A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity & inclusion
