Position Summary
Homewood Health™ is actively seeking Nurse Practitioners interested in offering remote mental health and substance use assessment and treatment services via video platform from their own office on an occasional, contract basis for our Return to Work Services; Substance Abuse Expert (SAE) and Fitness to Work Programs. This is a flexible position and referral volumes will vary.  Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with weekly availability to accommodate referrals.

What you'll be doing
· Respond to referrals for clients who require psychological and/or substance abuse assessments, mental health evaluations and/or medication reviews, schedule appointments and meet with clients within required timeframes
· Complete a comprehensive assessment, utilizing a variety of assessment tools, draft and sign off on diagnostic report
· Adhere to professional standards and best practices set by your regulatory body and Homewood Health
· Engage in clinical consultation with the clinical management team as required

What we're looking for
· Registration or certification as a Nurse Practitioner in your province of practice
· Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as otherwise determined by Homewood Health™
· Experience in formal assessments and diagnosis
· Experience of working with clients that are currently on LTD or STD is an asset
· Proficiency to provide counselling services in either English or French is required
· Counselling proficiency in additional languages is a strong asset
· Ability to use Microsoft Office ( Word, Outlook)
