The Toronto office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG), Canada’s leading, innovative and client-focused law firm, is seeking Mid-Level to Senior Associate – Tax. We are looking for: A mid-level to Senior Associate with experience in the area of corporate tax (both domestic and international), including mergers and acquisitions and corporate reorganizations. Experience and interest in structuring private company reorganizations, providing tax advice and structuring for non-resident corporations, and international tax planning an asset. This position offers the opportunity for a full practice with a focus on tax due diligence on acquisition transactions, tax structuring advice, and cross-border corporate transactions. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong analytical, personal, oral and written communication skills.
