Current enrollment in an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering program at an accredited post-secondary institution
You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term

Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Support Project Managers with project tasks and deliverables – progressing designs, Technical Report write ups, document & drawing markups, chairing meetings, following up on action items.
Identify, evaluate, recommend and implement opportunities to gain efficiencies through new technologies or improved work methods
Conduct / coordinate engineering evaluations and studies as well as contribute in the development of operations and maintenance practices and procedures
Build strong positive relationships while interacting closely with diverse groups of consultants, contractors, inspectors, regulatory agencies and internal and external partners
Support Safety Hazard Reviews.
Support Project Cost control, construction execution and asset commissioning.
Support Integration of New Pipeline Assets into group.
Location and other Key Details:
This is an 8, 12 or 16-month work term starting in May 2024. You will be asked to indicate your availability in your application
You will work out of our Pipeline Office in Sherwood Park, located at 241 Kaska Road
Relocation assistance will be provided if required
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
