Your opportunity

Our Building business line offers comprehensive project services: we work in structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering, and we also offer advanced designs in acoustics, fire protection, physical security, and energy efficiency. Our clients and partners can count on Stantec to successfully complete multidisciplinary mandates in all phases of a project, whether it involves new construction, expansions, renovations, or asset maintenance.

Your background

More than 15 years of experience in an engineering consulting firm, particularly in the field of building technical systems design and various project management roles;

An engineering degree from a recognized university or a senior professional technologist designation with equivalent experience and skills is required.

Certified professional in Quebec or member of the OIQ;

Good knowledge of business development activities and good reputation within the industry;

Good knowledge of Canadian building standards and codes;

The person must demonstrate a thorough understanding of construction methods and project execution;

Solid experience in project management, with an ability to manage work in a team-oriented environment and successfully complete large-scale, complex projects;

Understanding of multidisciplinary coordination throughout the design and construction process;

Proven experience leading a large team of engineers and designers;

Strong written and oral communication skills; fluency in French is required; fluency in English is considered an asset to facilitate internal and external business relationships.
