Adecco in partnership with our client, is currently hiring a full-time Manufacturing Trainer to join our client’s dynamic team in Toronto, ON. In this role you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering training programs for employees in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all employees are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and certifications to perform their duties safely and efficiently. You will work closely with department managers, production teams, and HR to identify training needs, develop curriculum, and implement training initiatives that align with operational goals and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
Work with the Plant Leadership Team, Team Leaders, and Subject matter Experts to identify, prioritize, implement and track training/development opportunities in the plant and to continuously improve training and development processes.
Effectively coordinate and communicate training activities and events such as New Hire Orientation, OTJ training, Training Classes, etc.
Create, update and maintain training materials, supplies, job aids, and training tools.
Maintain all internal training programs.
Administer employee assessments (LMS, evaluation checklists, etc.)
Maintain accurate training records and generate reports.
Participate in training-related meetings.
Analyzes jobs to determine the duties, functions, skills and abilities needed. Assists in developing and updating job descriptions.
Responsible for all operators on production floor to have both Theoretical WI sign-offs and Practical sign-offs including requalification at prescribed intervals. Assess and recommend additional training as needed.
Responsible for ensuring that all production work instructions are accurate, utilizing key stakeholders, and maintained up to date.
Record operator feedback at monthly training meetings and action items accordingly with relevant functional managers via WOs or other means.
Lead, manage and maintain Kaizen and 5S programs.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Advanced Certification "Train the Trainer" corporate series featuring the 4Ps of Training (Purpose & Assessment, Planning & Preparation, Presentation & Facilitation and Performance & Evaluation), is mandatory.
Understands the philosophies and techniques of adult learning principles and developing/implementing effective training.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP.
Knowledge of Health & Safety Standards (OHSA, WHMIS, LOTO, CSE, etc.)
MS Office Intermediate level is mandatory. Advanced level is an asset.
Prior working experience with LMS an asset.
Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing environment.
Minimum 5 years' experience in training development and delivery.
Cl/Continuous Improvement experience an asset
Experience with Labour Union an asset
