The Manufacturing Engineering Co-op will be based out of Macon, Georgia (1897 Allen Road, 31216). This is a temporary student position. The primary language of work is English.

Job Requirements
- Education Required: Currently enrolled in a 4 year Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree program and have completed at least 2 years
- Must be fluent in MS Office, Excel, Word, Power Point
- Must have a high level of professionalism and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
- Able to work in a highly organized manner where detail, accuracy, confidentiality, balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines are critical
The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:
- Equipment Reliability and Uptime Improvement Projects
- Waste Reduction Initiatives
- Root Cause Failure Analysis
- Preventive Maintenance Systems
- Work in cross functional teams from quality, safety, and paper making to drive business initiatives
- Working with vendors supplying high level services in all these areas
- Interacting with Operators who run our assets
- Aligning groups of people to develop processes, procedures and policy
- The candidate will have the opportunity to work roughly 50 hours per week
- Conducting trials for new products and efficiency improvements
- Exposure to several first Quartile Assets in the Tissue Manufacturing business
