RoleAs a Manager, Strategy and Design, you lead the design and transformation of our omnichannel client experiences. Leveraging Design Thinking methodologies, your team of researchers, designers and strategists collaborate with business peers to understand clients, craft experiences, excite colleagues and boldly pave the way to a more customer-centric future.
Your main responsibilities are:
Manage, mentor and inspire a team of design, strategy and innovation practitioners.
Lead UX, CX and service design to create value for clients and achieve business objectives.
Oversee the creation, optimization and/or transformation of customer journeys.
Draw, plan and execute roadmaps with business sponsors, product managers and agile teams.
Cultivate relationships with leadership that facilitate achieving customer-centric outcomes.
Train and empower peers with design thinking / innovation methods and techniques.
Organize and facilitate cross-functional research, ideation and (co-)design activities.
Share persuasive research insights that nurtures customer empathy throughout organization.
Develop deep market and industry expertise around customer journeys and product ecosystems.
Iterate towards solutions through prototypes, pilots and experiments.
Evangelize design thinking, promote best practices and contribute to thought leadership.
Manage budgets, recruitment and vendors.
Graduate studies in a management or design related discipline.
At least 10 years experience working in both agencies and in large companies.
At least 3 years of experience managing a team of designers as direct reports.
Mastery of research and design activities (personas, interviews, diary studies, service blueprints).
Curious, bold, empathic, and strategic mindset.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Demonstrated initiative, negotiating and coaching skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong customer service focus.
