Summary
The Multi-dwelling Unit (MDU) Sales team is being expanded to support the significant service footprint expansion and upgrades. The chosen candidate will be responsible for leading and providing support to a variety of team members from the MDU team inclusive of all sales activities, territory management and ensuring we expand our service offering into new markets.
Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager – MDU, the Area Manager will be part of a larger team of enthusiastic, results driven professionals who are dedicated to achieving success through effective relationship management and successful execution of MDU sales initiatives & priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads all initiatives to get in-building selling rights in the geographic territory
- Owns and executes on the Sales Targets for their assigned Region/Territory
- Create and maintain a Territory Activity plan to ensure sales teams are deployed in order to achieve sales quotas
- Strategic planning in the MDU space in order to deliver on growth plans and be the Face of Bell to our customers within each city and MDU communities
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with MDU property management and leasing staff. Regularly follows up to ensure Bell products and services are favorably presented to prospective tenants to drive maximum product penetration and revenue growth
- Develop and execute MDU Lobby, Off-Site & Local Community Events to maximize market share
- Proactively partner with Bell Authorised Agent, OSL management to ensure activity management, provide support to our Sales teams and ensure the territory of responsibility is being worked according to Bell standards and vision
- Close partnership with Bell Authorised Agent, OSL sales reps to promote Bell with our key stakeholders – Property Management companies, Condo Boards, Superintendents and decision makers
- Gather and provide feedback on market insights and competitive intelligence for assigned territory
- Work collaboratively with Senior Sales Manager to address process gaps and barriers to sales performance
Critical Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent education in a business discipline with minimum 3-5 years’ sales leadership experience
- B2B sales experience in the residential segments is an asset
- Proven ability to work on various tasks / projects simultaneously while ensuring your team is engaged and supported
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate them into strategy for our sales teams
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, more specifically PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines
- Detail oriented individual with ability to prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop successful business relationships with peers in MDU regional teams and cross functional departments
- Customer Service Orientation, Teamwork and Collaboration, Adaptability and Initiative.
- Ability to perform with minimal supervision

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
