Job Description

What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will be responsibility for managing the end to end processes of digital messaging campaign development which include requirement gathering, quality assurance testing and the deployment of email and adserve campaigns in support of RBC’s integrated marketing calendar. You will be responsible for being a subject matter expert on email marketing best practices and has proven project management skills.

What will you do?

  • Coordination of the end-to-end campaign production process ensuring that deadlines are met and email/adserve messages are deployed to market error-free
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast paced environment
  • Be a subject matter expert on channel best practices including optimization tactics and expert knowledge of CASL & CAN-SPAM regulations.
  • Reporting and analysis/evaluation of email campaign results through Google Analytics 
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards with respect to email development and online marketing and be able to research, recommend, and apply/roll out new technologies as they emerge

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • 3+ years of email marketing experience preferably in the financial or retail industry
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, developing both simple and complex journeys via Journey Builder
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud preferred
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and ability to prioritize while under pressure
  • Excellent knowledge of email campaign performance metrics
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of email privacy laws, CASL and CAN-SPAM
