Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Maintenance Scheduler / Administrator to support operations at a dynamic canola seed processing facility in Lethbridge. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong planning, SAP, and inventory management experience who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting all maintenance activities while managing inventory and materials. You will play a key role in minimizing downtime, supporting production schedules, and ensuring the right resources are available at the right time.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime

  • Create, manage, and close work orders in SAP, ensuring accurate data and costing

  • Maintain SAP master data, including tracking and documentation

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and storeroom organization

  • Conduct inventory audits to meet corporate and regulatory standards

  • Source quotes from vendors and coordinate with contractors

  • Receive, track, and deliver materials to support operations

  • Prepare finished goods for shipment with accurate documentation

  • Perform basic inspections and maintenance of material-handling equipment

  • Collaborate with maintenance, production, logistics, and quality teams

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and KPI performance

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards

  • Act as SAP key user, providing guidance and support to team members

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Journeyman Parts Technician certification or related diploma (preferred)

  • Experience in maintenance scheduling or planning in an industrial/plant environment

  • Background in inventory control, material handling, or warehouse operations

  • Strong experience with SAP (work orders, costing, inventory)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Mechanical/electrical knowledge of parts and equipment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

  • Physically capable of lifting and moving materials as required

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
