Mailroom Associate

We are currently seeking candidates to join our Finance Shared Services team in the role of Mailroom Associate.  Our Mailroom team is an important piece in keeping our operations running smoothly. We support multiple business operations with Mail & Office Supplies across our corporate office at 300 Union and our Affiliated companies around Saint John.

Finance Shared Services supports numerous J.D. Irving companies on their transactional processes including Accounts Receivable, Credit, Accounts Payable, Vendor Maintenance, Treasury, Payroll, Quality Assurance and Systems Administration, and Client Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing couriers.
  • Load, unload, and deliver packages to multiple locations.
  • Daily stops to Canada Post and banking institutions.
  • Maintenance of stationary stock and supplies.
  • Respond to internal customer inquiries.
  • Other tasks as required.

  

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong customer service and organization skills.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Previous experience in a physically demanding role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic computer skills.
