About the Opportunity
As the successful candidate you will have general knowledge in real estate gained through a related post-secondary education program such as a Legal Administration or Law Clerk Program, or related work experience, and have 0 – 2 years experience in a similar role. Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support in the Commercial Real Estate Group, which includes opening and closing files, accurately inputting information into Conveyancer, ordering title insurance policies, calendar management, digital and physical file maintenance and communicating effectively with lawyers, clients, real estate agents, banks and mortgage brokers.
You are a team player who thrives in an environment that offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of individuals as part of a team. You possess excellent organizational skills, with high attention to detail, and must have the ability to multitask, all of which will assist you to excel in this fast-paced team environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a positive attitude are also a must for dealing effectively within the Practice Group, clients, other lawyers and professionals in the interests of our clients. Strong knowledge of MS Office is a must and familiarity with Conveyancer, Teraview, Adobe Pro, Worldox and PC Law are considered assets.
