Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

The Wealth Management Technology, Business Process Management (BPM) team is undertaking multiple transformational initiatives to digitize the branch and operational experience using latest Pega capabilities on cloud.  In this key leadership role you will work with BPM leadership, Solution architects and business stakeholders to strategically plan and manage our product roadmap.  You will drive transformational items by managing POCs, stakeholder presentations, and assessing new technologies for use within our portfolio. You will act as Subject Matter Expert and lead the problem elicitation, solution proposal, and technical design phases of assigned transformation projects. 

What Will You Do?

  • Lead key transformation goals for the capability in alignment with overall strategy and track the associated KPIs.

  • Work collaboratively with Solution Architects, Functional Leads and Technical Leads to design highly efficient solution for our business

  • Provide consulting services, critical thinking, functional leadership and Identify solution optimizations with emphasis on reuse, scalability, and resiliency.

  • Develop and present solution alternatives along with recommendations to business stakeholders, executives and senior management

  • Create and maintain capabilities readiness documentation, including documentation of current state capabilities

  • Provide recommendations on technical strategy and opportunities to further modernize and enhance the BPM portfolio.

  • Stay abreast of industry technical and business trends through participation in professional associations, practice communities & individual learning

What do you need to succeed?

 Must have:

  • Expert level knowledge and highly proficient hands-on recent experience of 7+ years in delivering BPM technical solutions deployed on Pega, including working knowledge of Pega 8.x capabilities and Pega architecture patterns

  • Demonstrated experience with Java/J2EE/HTML development and awareness of multiple platforms and middleware technologies (E.g. MVS, Internet, Client/Server;  MQSeries / Websphere, Kafka, WXF, XML, .NET)

  • Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.

  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with individuals across teams and geographies to meet deadlines

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with ability to clearly present complex technical information to a business audience

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to define, influence and impact the technical direction

  • Ability to quickly evaluate options, make decisions and execute within an intense high-tech environment.
     

Nice-to-have: 

  • At least 2 years experience in the financial services industry

  • Hands on experience using alternate vendor workflow solutions such as Communda, Appian or IBM Business Automation

  • Hands on experience leveraging AI to improve the process workflow automation
