Network Infrastructure
The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia's Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
The team you will be a part of
You will work in a large Research and Development lab as part of a lab tech team. You will work closely with Hardware, Software and Test team members to maintain the equipment in the lab.
Position: Lab Tech Co-op / Intern
Duration: 4 months
Date: January 8th, 2024 to April 26th, 2024
Location: Onsite (Ottawa, Canada)
What you will learn and contribute to
As part of the team, you will:
- General Lab Support Searching for cards, test equipment setups, cables, etc. Required by HW, SW, Test and Customer Support team members
- Moves, Adds and Changes
- Setting up PCs, workstations or new equipment that is moving from one area to another
- Equipment support, repair, and set up third-party test and measurement equipment
- Calibration support
Your skills and experience
Education Recommendations
Currently a candidate for Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.
You have :
- Computer skills
- Interpersonal and Communication skills
- General understanding of Telecom products
