Position: Junior Logistics Analyst

 

Your responsibilities in this position will be the following:

Your mission will be to support the logistics team in carrying out projects (innovation, continuous improvement, productivity, etc.) and in daily transportation operations. Based on identified needs, you will work closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders, such as the departments of quality, planning, and customer service, etc.

 

Detailed goals:

Support standard supply chain operations, including:

    • Operating our BluJay TMS (Transportation Management System), ensuring accuracy of information (pickup and delivery times, etc.) and communicating with our partners (Inbound/Outbound)
    • Monitoring KPIs, including Tender Acceptance, On Time Delivery and % Full Pallets, in order to assist the Transportation Manager in making decisions
    • Supporting the planning and CS teams in day-to-day logistics operations
    • Monitoring transportation claims with our partners: maintaining the compilation file, communicating with carriers
    • Updating daily reports: late deliveries, delays, schedule changes
    • Correcting the Transportation Routing Guide using the BluJay tool
    • Supporting warehouse improvement initiatives (co-pack projects, productivity projects, etc.)
    • Monitoring the performance of our 3PL partners in terms of cost and service and identifying trends or areas to improve for the Warehouse Manager
    • Developing automated tools needed for the logistics team’s day-to-day operations using Power BI, automated BluJay reports, etc.
    • Supporting Managers with logistics projects

The ideal applicant has the following qualifications and skills:

  • B.A. in Logistics/Operations and Production Management or DEC with relevant experience
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SAP an asset
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, etc.
  • Agility and flexibility
  • Good communicator with strong ability to build relationships with colleagues and external partners
