Your Job

As such, technology is a core component of our success and our Software Engineering team of 1,200 players is actively working on large transformation programs and several innovative digital projects for our belairdirect and Intact Insurance divisions.

We are currently looking for an Application Architect for our Application Development Claims, who will play a vital role in supporting our growth.

Your responsibilities:

Conduct a permanent technology watch.
Lead the elaboration of the technological roadmap with the tech leadership practice
Ensure consistency with the technological vision and architectural quality of the Application Development Claims products .
Ensure compliance with the rules governing design and development.
Define and document the application architectures, jointly with the product tech lead and taking into account the demands of the projects.
Act as a mentor and technical leader with software engineering teams.

Your Skills

•    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Software Engineering or any equivalent combination of education and experience.•    Proven experience in technical leadership and software development architecture.•    Minimum 5 years of experience designing and delivering distributed systems.•    Excellent knowledge of Guidewire Claim Centre is a plus.•    Good knowledge of application security and its mechanisms.•    Previous experience in agile development, continuous delivery and DevOps culture.•    Excellent knowledge of Software and Enterprise Design Patterns.•    Proven experience with Java, SOAP/Rest, Maven, Spring Boot•    Excellent knowledge of object-oriented development.•    Cloud infrastructure, security or event driven architecture are a plus.
