INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST

We are currently looking to fill the District Inventory Specialist position. The right candidate for this role directly reports to the District Manager and the Replenishment Manager and requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
What you will do:

Work under moderate supervision.

Solving routine problems may require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.

Communicate information that requires some explanation or interpretation.

Experience in using Power BI and D365 system, strong asset

Able to travel within the district as required
What you will bring:
-
Manage or perform work associated with the procurement and supply and coordination of materials including, Materials Requirements Planning, Materials Procurement/Purchasing, Materials Inventory Planning & Control, and Materials Warehousing, Distribution & Transportation

Work closely with the District Manager, District Sales Manager, and Store Management to address inventory issues and concerns.

Deal with stock rebalancing within the district.

Manage purchase order and special-order items.

Check and keep track of the store’s compliance on hole counts, contractors SKU (Stock Keeping Unit), and top 100 SKUs.
